Boost for Formula E: Nissan extend contract with electric series

The forthcoming entry of Lola Yamaha is proof that the interest of manufacturers to participate in Formula E is growing. Japan's Nissan have been active in the electric class for years and has become the first manufacturer to commit to the period of the so-called GEN4. In the run-up to the E-Prix in their home country, the carmaker showed their commitment to extend their contract with Formula E for a further four years, and are active in the sport until at least 2030.
